“For it is by Grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the Gift of God, not by Works, so that no one can boast” (Eph. 2:8-9).

We contribute nothing to our Salvation. God sovereignly regenerates us, causing us to be born again (Jn. 1:13; 3:5-9). He predestines and effectually calls us (Rom. 8:30). He unites us to Christ. “By grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is a “Gift of God” (Eph. 2: 8, 9).

“Grace is God’s Undeserved Favour, His Unwarranted Love”. God is acting in spontaneous goodness to save sinners. Grace is both Divine Favour and Divine Action, saving sinners. Doctrine of Salvation gives no place to Law or Good Works.

Athmajyothi Foundation Follows: The Five Solas

1) Sola Gratia – By Grace Alone

2) Sola Fide – Through Faith Alone

3) Sola Christo – In Christ Alone

4) Sola Scriptura – By Scripture Alone

5) Sola Deo Gloria – To Glory of God Alone

We desire to be a Fellowship where God is pleased to glorify Himself through:

1) The Salvation of Sinners (Conversion)

2) The Transformation of individual believers into the image of Jesus Christ (Sanctification)

3) The Building up of the Body of Christ (Identity), and

4) The Equipping of the Saints for the works of ministry (Mission)

The New Testament is devoted to the message of “Sola Gratia, Sola Fide, Solo Christo”, apart from good works, such as in the Book of Gal. 1:1-5:12, Eph. 1-3, Phil. 3, and Romans 1-11. No one has understood the graciousness of the Gospel with greater clarity than have Reformed Protestants. Their Doctrine of “Predestination” is undergirding the Doctrines of Grace. Apostle Paul says, “Election is unconditional, otherwise Grace is no longer Grace.” (Rom. 11:6). We are Saved because of nothing seen or foreseen in us. “By His doing we are in Christ Jesus, who has become to us wisdom from God, and righteousness, and sanctification and redemption.” (1 Cor. 1:30). God “Justifies the ungodly” (Rom. 4:5). We are Saved, Safe, Secure, Possessing a Salvation that we did not earn, and cannot lose.

The Law was our Guardian until Christ came that we might be justified by faith. Now that this faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian. So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ (Gal. 3:24-27).
